DMS Chromium - Plating on Plastics

Plating on plastics is a specialist process during which the butadiene is chemically removed from the surface of the moulding creating a micro-porous – etched surface in which a catalyst is deposited and subsequently, electroless nickel is chemically deposited. After which an electrolytic layer of copper, nickel and chrome is deposited to produce a bright, decorative surface to the required customer specification.

DMS Chromium Plating can operate in any manner which suits the customer. We can receive raw mouldings from the customer against schedules, plating in chrome, satin or gold finishes, or we can control the total manufacturing process from moulding to assembly of the finished unit to satisfy customer demands.
